I cannot stretch it enough how important it is to develop self love. Many people have insecurities. Whether we believe we are too dark, too light, too fat, or too skinny. Many of our insecurities stem from our childhood. Some of us grew up being the darkest of the bunch. While family members played a role in the clowning or crucial jokes about the way we looked. Some of us were clowned based off our weight, looks, yes, you name it. No matter how others often see us or made fun of us, at the end of the day it stems down to how one feels about oneself. How do you feel about yourself? No matter what others say about you, you go home alone and get to look at yourself everyday. Are there things that you feel you want to change? Then do it. Don't do things based off of others opinions about you. If you want to gain weight, do it, if you want to lose weight, do it. Things should be based off of how you feel. I feel this generation is full of insecurities. So many people are running to get their bodies done, I see so many bodies that look fairly similar one another. We are running out of natural women and men. And please, if you feel like you have to alter your looks to be with someone, than maybe you shouldn't be with that person. Love isn't about change. Love is someone that admires you each and every day whether you go bald, gain/lose weight or whatever. Love is about Character. Showing each other not only do you treat one another great, but you apply this same behavior towards others. My best advice is to take the time to get to know yourself each day for 30 minutes or more. Understand your mind. Learn what irritates you and how you can work on yourself so that thing that was once mad irritating, irritates you less. Stop getting upset about things you cannot change. Stop getting upset about small things like juice and etc. Learn to be okay with compromising with others. Learn to listen to others vent without becoming offended by what they say. Work on your mindset so others feel comfortable enough to tell you anything and you can give amazing advice. The more you work on yourself and how you react to certain situations, the closer we all get to making the world a more peaceful place. Live, Laugh & Love!
